Every mile tells a story — this is ours.
We’re Steve, Ashley, McKayla, and Riley — a full-time RV family chasing our dreams across America.
Our journey began in 2019 when we bought our first travel trailer and fell in love with the open road. In May-June of 2022 we took our first long road trip, 2-1/2 weeks, and we were hooked and wanted to figure out how to do this life full time. So we started planning and in December 2024, we sold our home, downsized our lives, and set out to find freedom, adventure, and the simple joy of living life on our own terms because life is too short to wait.
What started as weekend getaways quickly turned into a lifestyle that changed how we see the world. Every new place brings a story, every mile holds a memory, and every campfire reminds us why we chose this path — to slow down, connect as a family, and chase the dreams that truly matter. Through Campfires & Motors, we hope to inspire others to find their own version of freedom and adventure, wherever the road may lead.
